3.2. Notice to European Union Customers: Disposal of Old Equipment or Appliances
This product uses components and substances which can be dangerous for the environment and harmful to human health if not disposed of correctly. Any component that is removed must be taken to a specialized collection or disposal center. If this equipment must be dismantled, this must be done by a specialized center for collection and disposal of electric and electronics appliances or other dangerous substances. This product has been supplied from an environmentally aware manufacturer that complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 201/19/EU and the “crossed-out wheeled bin” symbol is placed on this product to show that it should be disposed of separately from normal household waste and encourage you to recycle wherever possible.
Please be environmentally responsible and recycle this product through your recycling facility at its end of life. Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Follow local municipal waste ordinances for proper disposal provisions to reduce the environmental impact of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

These numbers show that SambaNova Systems has registered with the local authorities in Germany and that SambaNova Systems is providing appropriate recycling arrangements for our products in Germany.
So that you can easily recycle your waste batteries and packaging in Germany, SambaNova Systems has entered into agreements with the GRS (https://www.grs-batterien.de/) and Interseroh (https://www.interzero.de/) compliance organizations. These organizations coordinate the recycling of waste batteries and packaging from SambaNova Systems’ products in Germany.
SambaNova Systems also finances the recycling of our electronic products in Germany once they arise as waste in accordance with the requirements of Stiftung EAR (https://www.stiftung-ear.de/de/startseite), via a contract with the European Advanced Recycling Network (https://www.earn-service.com/).

SambaNova Systems has registered with the B2BWEEE-Scheme (https://b2bweee-scheme.com/) compliance organization in the United Kingdom to fulfill its registration and reporting obligations.
